Principal / Founder
Malika Azargoon, a graduate of George Washington University, has been a professional in the dental industry for nearly 18 years. With initial plans to pursue a career in dentistry, life changed direction with a growing family and she found herself redirecting her passion and energy for the dental industry by seeking opportunities to grow existing dental practices. Excelling as a dental assistant, she quickly grew her role in the practices she worked in and ultimately became a business manager in one of the top dental practices in the DC Metro area. As the demand for Malika’s expertise grew, Zar Dental Consulting was developed and is now a successful dental consulting firm, serving over 100 different practices in the DC Metro area and surrounding Mid-Atlantic region.
Malika’s commitment to results-driven best practices is the platform she has built her business and team around. Zar Dental Consulting is client focused - both for single office and multi-office practices. Her broad range of experience allows her to develop strategies and infrastructure support for each unique client setting. This is achieved with the expertise and knowledge base of a national firm, but with the benefit of local hands-on support. An avid runner, Malika uses her marathon training as an analogy for her business -- commit to the race, stay determined, and cross the finish line. Zar Dental Consulting navigates the industry and drives client success.
Jackie has been part of the Zar Dental team since its inception. She has been instrumental in providing administrative and project support for the company and its clients, including insurance analysis, staffing placement, credentialing, billing needs and establishing EFT accounts. Her leadership, organizational skills and attention to detail make her a valuable asset to the team and to its clients.
Jackie received her Bachelor's Degree in Economics from City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College.
Prior to joining Zar Dental, Jackie was a college admissions clerk and an unofficial counselor and a Social Security Administration Claims Specialist (bi-lingual). As an active US Army wife for approximately 23 years, she served as a US Army Family Support Group leader during the first combat deployments to Iraq in 2003 and as a volunteer financial assistance advisor to US Army Families.
Jackie and her husband have two teenagers and is an avid, competitive runner.
